Applications are due 6/12 for the Gael Roots Farm High School Internship for town of Rockland high school students! The internship runs for approximately 7 weeks, and offers a paid learning opportunity for students in order to gain hands-on experience with farming, animal husbandry, growing vegetables, running a farm stand, food production, community building, and sustainability. And most importantly, interns learn general life skills that will help in any career they pursue. Two interns are selected and they work for 8-10 hours per week.
