If you’ve worked in a garden in the Catskills, you may know the term “2 rocks for every dirt”. Here’s a chance to help the Gael Roots Farm team clear some of the rocks out of our garden beds so they don’t get in the way of rototilling and planting. Many hands make light work, and we’ll spend an hour picking rocks. If going to the gym is boring, this is a great opportunity to work up a sweat, get stronger, and help us expand our capacity for expanding community food access.
This quick hour-long event will follow the Volunteer Meet & Greet scheduled for earlier that morning. Come for one, or both! If the weather is bad, we’ll reschedule. If you’d like to attend, please fill out this short form so we know to expect you. And please bring work gloves, if you have them.
