Each fall we host a skilled fiber artist on the farm. They utilize space and materials on the farm to expand their practice, and end with a culminating presentation at Catskill Art Space.

Gael Roots offers workshops such as natural dyeing and spinning lessons that strengthen the network of fiber artists in the region. Along with programs on animal husbandry such as Raising Sheep 101 and Understanding Heritage breeds and wool.

Gael Roots collaborates with Amy Gillingham on the neighboring Wild Roots Farm to create beautiful handspun, naturally dyed, and hand woven shawls and knitted hats that are sold for large donations to Gael Roots nonprofit efforts.
