May 18th Community Work Party

As part of Livingston Manor’s Flower Day we are launching our first Community Work Party! Join us for a day of collaboration and community at Gael Roots Community Farm! We will be hosting work parties every other week. This time of year the work parties are focused on spring cleaning, general maintenance, planting, implementing new systems, and prepping the land for the upcoming growing season. We share skills and knowledge through hands-on tasks and conversations during the work party.

Whether you're interested in agriculture or simply lending a helping hand, there's a place for you at our farm. Meet new friends, learn something new, and contribute to our community-focused work.

Participants are encouraged to bring a sack lunch and dress in weather-appropriate attire that can withstand a bit of dirt. Bring work gloves, a water bottle, and sun/rain protection. Sorry, as a farm with animals, no dogs are allowed. Be prepared to get your hands dirty and work alongside fellow community members. We can't wait to see you there!

Registration is required. Space is limited based on the projects we have planned. Please have each person attending sign up. Thank you!
