We’re thrilled to welcome Adrienne Snobeck (@nourishmentoverfire) to Gael Roots Farm for a workshop on seasonal foodways. She’ll share her extensive knowledge on seasonality and how to best utilize farm food in your own kitchen and plan for later seasons through preservation such as freezing, canning, and fermentation. This October workshop will focus on warm foods, herbal bitters, teas, bread, root veggies, soups and a healthy homemade bouillon recipe. She’ll also talk about what to eat at certain times of year for highest nutritional value and how to make fall and winter veggies exciting. This workshop will also touch on the economics of seasonal eating.

Adrienne and Iris will share an assortment of seasonal snacks and answer all your questions.

Suggested donation: $20 (sliding scale $15-$30)
