Amy Gillingham from Wild Roots Farm, will be here during our weekly Farm Stand to show how she spins the fleece from sheep into wool, and teach visitors how to spin themselves (using a simple hook and wool roving).

Amy has been raising sheep and spinning wool for almost 30 years. She’ll show how she uses her spinning wheel, and will offer visitors an easy way to learn a spinning technique, using wool from Gael Roots Farm!

Amy will have wool available for purchase, for all those looking for a winter project.
